They also boast a full 1 1/4-in. cut and everyday 18-gauge capacity.Equipment and systemsSince there were few hvac equipment manufacturers at the show, there is little to tell on that front. Some odds and ends, however, are worth noting. The A220 is powered by a Deutz BF4M101 iF diesel engine rated 73 hp at 2600 rpm. The engine is a 2.97 L, turbocharged, four-cylinder powerplant with integrated oil cooling. The engine package also incorporates a Donaldson air cleaner with restriction indicator, Valeo starter and alternator, AKG oil cooler, Nelson muffler and Barry Controls elastomeric engine mounts.The main hydraulic pump, belt driven off the engine, is an electronically controlled Sauer-Danfoss series 42 hydrostatic pump with a displacement of 51 cc/rev. Also driven off the engine are Sauer-Danfoss gear pumps, two on the standard machine and three on the high-flow version. The main pump drives twin Rexroth MCR5 hydrostatic motors that displace 565 cc/rev and hydraulic system functions are controlled through a Bobcat-built control valve. "Other than the electronic pump, the rest of the drivetrain, the engine package and the basic geartrain package is the same as the 863 skid-steer," Krause said. Though light in weight, Airbor magnetic drill has a powerful 1.6-hp air motor and 1,600-lb magnetic holding strength. With its extra rack, stroke length is extended to 10 1/4 in. Annular cutter capacity is up to 2 1/16 in. diam. Geared chuck adapter converts the unit to a standard drill press. The Slugger Air Force pneumatic drill, at 24 lbs, 6 1/4" high, is useful for confined area drilling. The drill''s features include a permanent magnet that turns on or off by air power, a cutter capacity of up to 1 1/16" diameter x 3/4" depth and the ability to use ShortSlugger cutters and frame cutters.
